Modelagem Aeroviscoelástica de painéis sanduíches planos via método dos paineis

Abstract

The present work has as main objective the proposition of an aeroviscoelastic model of a sandwich panel of three layers, being a base layer, a viscoelastic layer and a constrained layer. In order to analyze the influence of viscoelastic damping treatment in the dynamic response of the system subjected to an unsteady flow. The aerodynamic loading will be calculated using the Doublet Lattice Method (DLM), which allows obtaining the matrix of aerodynamic forces (Q) in the frequency domain and is based on the theory of the assumed modes. In addition, the structural calculation will be performed independently using the finite element method (MEF) coupled with Kirchhoff thin plate theory for the elastic layers, and the Mindlin's theory combined with the fractional derivative model (MDF) for the viscoelastic layer. In the course of the work, the more usual methods for predicting the critical flutter velocity will be described, which together with the spline interpolation method allows coupling the aerodynamic and viscoelastic effects. Finally, the influence of the viscoelastic treatment on an already existing structure will be evaluated, as well as the influence of environmental and operational parameters on the critical flutter velocity.
