Model of the thermoelectric properties of anisotropic organic semiconductors
S. Ihnatsenka
Abstract:A model of hopping charge transport that accounts for anisotropy of localized states is proposed. For the localized states that are highly anisotropic in space, the degree of orientation relates exponentially to the ratio of conductivities in parallel and perpendicular directions, while the ratio of Seebeck coefficients stays nearly unaffected. Coulomb interaction preserves these dependencies. However, the ratio of Seebeck coefficients can increase if Coulomb interaction is screened more strongly in a directio… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
