Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are an essential part of Bangladesh's economy, contributing significantly to the country's gross domestic product (GDP). The study aims to investigate the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the owners of SMEs in Bangladesh. To serve this purpose, cross-sectional data were collected from 103 participants using a purposive sampling technique. We generated different frequency distribution tables based on our inputted data, and then the results of the study were presented using descriptive statistics. The results of the study showed that 58.3% of the SMEs were completely shut down due to COVID-19 pandemic. We also observed that the demand for goods reduced by 83.5%, while production costs increased by 21.4%. Thus, the overall production of goods in SMEs decreased by 48.5%. Most of the owners (90.3%) stated that their profit was dropped by 50% to 100% during corona pandemic, and 68.9% of owners had to retrench workers from their organizations to reduce costs. Approximately, 78.3% of respondents stated that their products remained unsold from 10% to 70% during the pandemic. The findings suggest that policymakers should advance the SME sector by incorporating e-commerce, more favorable government policies, facilitating bank loans, and establishing new training institutions to solve the existing drawbacks of this sector.

The eruption of COVID-19 pandemic virus caused a challenge to the whole world, prevent or cure from its further spreading or survive with it, or revive of economy. To prevent from the spreading of virus government of India resisted lockdown which stops travel and tourism completely. Restrictions on global and interstate travel affected business sector exception allowed to daily need commodity its huge shock to nations economy. This research paper is investigating the results of covid-19 pandemic on economic growth in tourism sector. This paper is classified into following dimensions: domain of tourism facilities, tourists arrival and methodology. The aspects of this paper are focusing on tourism industry, including revenue impact, employment loss, issues facing by workers, market demand, recovery of the tourism industry, behavior of tourist for safety and health, preference of customers. Its analysis based on secondary data which discuss the pandemic activities and measuring the impression of the pandemic on the tourism industry in Himachal Pradesh.

The study is designed to investigate the effect of the twin crisis on the private sector and national outlook of the oil dependent nations of Iraq and Russia. It is specifically aimed to evaluate and compare the recovery strategies put in place to survive the small and medium size enterprise. It is also of specific concern to estimate the end to pressure on this sector resulting from the global health problem. Descriptive and comparative research methods forms the central analytical tools employed to synthesis the research dilemma. A year sample t-test is used to compare the level of pressure on the private sector, recovery strategies, it results, performance of other sectors and macroeconomic performance proxies. As members of Organization of Petroleum Export Countries, Iraq and Russia private sector under performed in 2020. The t-statistic results confirm no significant mean difference in the effect of the 2020 twin crisis on private sector of both nations. However, the findings noted COVID-19 rules abiding (high stringency index) and financial leverage aim to support the agro-sector as the Iraqi economy resilient strategies. Russia though with increase financial leverage, focuses on vaccine production and distribution. It is for this reason that the t-statistic noted a significant different in recovery/infected between both nations. Russia should endeavor to improve its stringency index while furthering its vaccination efforts. Iraq needs to engage more vaccination campaign while keeping an eye on it agro sector.
