Technology in agriculture has been widely and massively applied. One of them is automation technology and the use of big data through the Internet of Things (IoT). The use of IoT allows a process to run automatically without human intervention. Extreme weather changes and narrow land use are one of the main problems in agriculture. The development of IoT devices has been widely developed regarding this subject. One of them is a soil moisture detection system. This study aims to build an IoT soil moisture detection system. The system will use a sensor as input which is then processed in a microcontroller device and the prediction results are sent to the IoT cloud platform. Prediction results are obtained using a time series model and then its performance is evaluated using RMSE. This model was chosen because the structure of the observed soil moisture data is based on time. The results of this study indicate that the soil moisture IoT system can work well. This is supported by the results of the prediction evaluation value of the RMSE = 1.175682x10-5 model which is very small.

Abstrak — Beras merupakan makanan pokok yang paling banyak dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Tingginya kebutuhan pangan terutama beras memaksa pemerintah dan penduduk untuk menerima tingginya harga eceran beras. Tujuan penulis melakukan penelitian ini untuk memprediksi harga eceran beras terhitung 2017-2020 dengan menggunakan algoritm backpropagation. Dalam penggunaannya algoritma backpropagation ini sangat baik untuk melakukan tugas prediksi dengan tingkat kesalahan yang cukup rendah. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan 5 arsitektur antara lain : 4-25-1, 4-35-1, 4-40-1, 4-42-1, 4-45-1 dengan learning rate 0,09. Dari ke 5 Arsitektur ini, arsitektur terbaiknya adalah 4-45-1 dengan tingkat akurasi sebesar 88%, epoch 12718 iterasi dan waktu 1 menit 14 detik.Kata kunci— Prediksi, Harga, Beras, Indonesia, Backpropagation. Abstract — Rice is the staple food most consumed by the people of Indonesia. The high demand for food, especially rice, forced the government and residents to accept the high retail price of rice. The purpose of the authors to do this research to predict the retail price of rice counted 2017-2020 using backpropagation algorithm. In its use the backpropagation algorithm is excellent for performing prediction tasks with a fairly low error rate. The data in this study were obtained from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). This study uses 5 architectures, among others: 4-25-1, 4-35-1, 4-40-1, 4-42-1, 4-45-1. From the 5th Architecture, the best architecture is 4-45-1 with an accuracy of 88%, epoch 12718 iteration and 1 minute 14 seconds.Keywords — Prediction, Price, Rice, Indonesia, Backpropagation.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis data model Generalized Space Time Autoregreesive (GSTAR) menggunakan software R. Data yang digunakan adalah data inflasi di Kota Manado, Palu, dan Makasar periode bulan Januari 2010 sampai dengan bulan Desember 2014. Data diolah menggunakan software R, mulai dari menginput data, memplotkan data, menaksir parameter, membuat model, sampai uji diagnostik. Hasil penaksiran parameter model GSTAR untuk data inflasi tiga lokasi memberikan taksiran parameter 0.085, 0.022, 0.380 dan 0.245, 0.458, 0.164. sehingga diperoleh model GSTAR untuk tiga lokasi adalah Ẑ1(t) = 0.085Z1(t-1) + 0.1225Z2(t-1) + 0.1225Z3(t-1) Ẑ2(t) = 0.022Z2(t-1) + 0.214Z1(t-1) + 0.214Z3(t-1) Ẑ3(t) = 0.380Z3(t-1) + 0.082Z1(t-1) + 0.0820Z2(t-1).
