Model for Computation of Interference to Radio-Relay Systems From Geostationary Satellites

Abstract: A statistical model is suggested for the computation of interference into terrestrial radio‐relay systems from geostationary satellites. The model is general. It incorporates radio‐relay characteristics, satellite arrangements, and allowable satellite power flux densities. A program simulator can be used to calculate the satellite power flux density corresponding to a particular radio‐relay interference objective.
