The conferences attracted many local and international delegates, presenting a balanced mixture of intellect from the East and from the West.The goal of this conference series is to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to focus on understanding computer science and information technology and to establish new collaborations in these areas. Authors are invited to contribute to the conference by submitting articles that illustrate research results, projects, survey work and industrial experiences describing significant advances in all areas of computer science and information technology.The IPPR-2018, SOENG-2018, DaMi-2018, CSIT-2018, AIS-2018, CSE-2018, CCNET-2018 Committees rigorously invited submissions for many months from researchers, scientists, engineers, students and practitioners related to the relevant themes and tracks of the workshop. This effort guaranteed submissions from an unparalleled number of internationally recognized top-level researchers. All the submissions underwent a strenuous peer review process which comprised expert reviewers. These reviewers were selected from a talented pool of Technical Committee members and external reviewers on the basis of their expertise. The papers were then reviewed based on their contributions, technical content, originality and clarity. The entire process, which includes the submission, review and acceptance processes, was done electronically. All these efforts undertaken by the Organizing and Technical Committees led to an exciting, rich and a high quality technical conference program, which featured high-impact presentations for all attendees to enjoy, appreciate and expand their expertise in the latest developments in computer network and communications research.In closing, CCSEA-2018, NCOM-2018, AIFU-2018, DKMP-2018, EMSA-2018, SIPRO-2018, SEA-2018 brought together researchers, scientists, engineers, students and practitioners to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas and research results in all aspects of the main workshop themes and tracks, and to discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted. The book is organized as a collection of papers from the CCSEA-2018, NCOM-2018, AIFU-2018, DKMP-2018, EMSA-2018, SIPRO-2018, SEA-2018 We would like to thank the General and Program Chairs, organization staff, the members of the Technical Program Committees and external reviewers for their excellent and tireless work. Abstract-In the environments where heterogeneous devices need to share information, utilize services of each other, and participate as components in various smart applications, it is common to rely on the advantages of the semantic data model and ontologies. Our work extends this approach so that also the process of software development for such environments is ontology-driven. The goals are to raise the level of abstraction of smart application development, to enable development by non-programmers, and to partially automate the development to make it easier and faster. In this paper, we describe the Smart Modeller that consists of 1) a design tool that enables the developer to graphically create a model of a smart space application and 2) a framework that provides core interfaces for extensions supporting both the model and ontology-driven development. These extensions enable: ontology-based creation of model elements, discovery and reuse of both the software components and partial models through a repository mechanism, and generation of executable programming code for models.

Problem statement: Model Driven Architecture (MDA) is a software development approach based on the design and the transformation of models. In MDA, models are systematically translated to other models and to a source code. Model transformation plays a key role in MDA. Several model transformation languages have been launched lately, aiming to facilitate the translation of input models to output models. The employment of such languages in practical contexts has succeed, although quite often those languages cannot be directly applied to a particular type of model transformation, called refinement. Approach: This study provides a general overview on model refinement and investigates two approaches for model refinement based on Atlas Transformation Language (ATL) referred to as: Refining mode and module superimposition. ATL is a widely adopted language for solving model transformation problems in the MDA approach. Results: This study presents the comparative results obtained from the analysis of the Refining Mode and the Module Superimposition approaches, emphasizing their application benefits. Conclusion:The increasing use of MDA for the design of software systems empowered researches on how developers may benefit from approaches that perform model refinement. The main advantages achieved with the use of the Module Superimposition technique are maintainability and reusability improvement, obtained through module composition and rule superimposition. In its turn, the Refining Mode stands out for its ease of use.
