Abstract:A mathematical model for DNA quantification was calibrated using experimental results from real-time 260nm absorption measurements of plasmonic PCR thermocycling. The effect of different PCR parameters on template amplification was investigated using the calibrated model. Clinical Relevance-The results will aid researchers to optimize PCR reagent concentrations and system conditions to achieve faster and more efficient amplification as well as more sensitive amplicon detection.
