Abstract:The most suitable model to describe the yttrium iron garnet (YIG) sintering reaction has been evaluated in this study. The sintering reaction at the optimum temperature was predicted by the simulation method. When sintering takes place at a temperature of 1200°C, an intermediate compound of YIP is formed, then at a temperature of 1450°C the formation of YIG reaches a steady state.
