Mode of delivery in pregnant women with hypertensive disorders and unfavorable cervix following induction of labor with vaginal application of prostaglandin E2

Abstract: PGE(2) induction of labor is successful in approximately 75% of patients with hypertensive disorders and unfavorable cervix, with apparently no serious maternal or fetal complications. The induction of labor by itself, and not the hypertensive disorders in pregnancy, is independent risk factor for CS.
