MODE OF ACTION OF THYROXINE UPON SUCCINIC DEHYDROGENASE SYSTEM OF RAT TISSUE HOMOGENATES IN VITRO

Abstract: Processes of methylene blue reduction as affected by change in degree of evacuation. In this case,0.4ml of 0.5% mouse liver homogenate (2 mg wet weight/3 nil),0.2ml of 0.2 M succinate and 0.2ml of 0.01% methylene blue were used.Degree of evacuation in A:for 3 minutes to 7 mmHa,B:for 6 minutes to 7 mmHg,C: for 10 minutes to 6 mmHg, D:for 20 minutes to 5.5 mmHg(duplicate).
