Mode-I fracture toughness evaluation of bio based short areca fibers reinforced polymer composites

Abstract: Naturally accessible materials have recently become appealing to researchers and scientists due to their suitability as an ideal reinforcement for polymer composites reinforced with fiber. Low cost, relatively strong mechanical properties, qualities of non-abrasive and bio-degradability, exploited as a switch to the standard fiber.
