Modal analysis of a beam with bilateral breathing oblique cracks

Abstract: In this paper, a theoretical method is proposed to conduct the modal analysis of a beam with bilateral breathing oblique cracks. Based on the principle of Virtual Work, the oblique crack is transformed into the local flexibility.
