-Large software development projects with high levels of agility require several IT operations: software configuration management, bug tracking management, making software builds and deployments. Due to high agility in projects, the starting phases are very chaotic and sometimes in a few days customer is willing to get the first release of software. It means that all IT operations should be automated as soon as possible. The study presents a model-driven approach for automation of IT operations through the reuse of the existing source code. In addition, it presents a method for the development of library of reusable source code. The paper contains a brief description of the model-driven approach, library of source code and metamodels developed for a new methodology. The paper ends with the results of the practical experiments and conclusions on how this approach could be improved in the future.

-Software configuration management is one of the most important disciplines within the software development project, which helps control the software evolution process and allows including into the end product only tested and validated changes. To achieve this, software management completes certain tasks. Concrete tools are used for technical implementation of tasks, such as version control systems, servers of continuous integration, compilers, etc. There are situations when some tools or scripts are implemented to support small particular parts of complex software configuration management process without a general picture of total process. Maintenance of such solutions is complex and more expensive than it could be. The study describes a model-driven configuration management approach, which foresees the development of an abstract environment model for the configuration management process that later is transformed to lower abstraction level models and tools are indicated to support the technical process. This approach allows implementing all tools and solutions according to the planned configuration management process and developing reusable solutions.

We present an approach to model-driven software product line engineering which is based on feature models and domain models. A feature model describes both common and varying properties of the instances of a software product line. The domain model is composed of a structural model (package and class diagrams) and a behavioral model (story diagrams). Features are mapped onto the domain model by annotating elements of the domain model with features. An element of a domain model is specific to the features included in its feature annotation. An instance of the product line is defined by a set of selected features (a feature configuration). A configuration of the domain model is built by excluding all elements whose feature set is not included in the feature configuration. To ensure consistency of the configured domain model, we define constraints on the annotations of inter-dependent domain model elements. These constraints guarantee that a model element may be selected only when the model elements are also included on which it depends. Violations of dependency constraints may be removed automatically with the help of an error repair tool which propagates features to dependent model elements.Keywords Model-driven software product line engineering · Feature models · Domain models · Feature mappings · Dependency constraints Communicated by Prof. Alfonso Pierantonio.
