Mobility of rural youth and new forms of Saharan agriculture (Biskra, Algeria)

Abstract: Depuis une quinzaine d'années, la migration de jeunes ruraux du nord de l'Algérie à la recherche de nouvelles opportunités en agriculture dans le Sahara a stimulé l'essor de la production maraîchère sous serre. Ce flux va à contre-courant du discours dominant sur le délaissement de l'agriculture par les jeunes ruraux.
