Mobile housing for students

Abstract

Problem statement. At the current stage of world development, mobile housing is used very widely and has a large typological range. The formation of the structure of mobile residential technologies is caused by social migration processes associated primarily with employment, and recreational and tourist activities. In the leading countries of the world, a promising trend has become a new functional and typological direction − mobile housing for the period of education. The structural and technological advantages of mobile housing allow it to be used for temporary residence on a variety of landscapes, including the development of territories that are difficult for capital construction. Purpose. To identify the features of creating mobile housing for students based on the study of global experience and research on the possibilities of building mobile student dormitories in the conditions of post-industrial Ukraine (by the example of the city of Dnipro). Conclusions. In many countries, most often block-container-type living cells are used for the organization of mobile housing of student accommodation, among which the most common is mobile housing made with the use of Cargotecture technology and capsule housing. In the current social and economic conditions of Ukraine, the architectural and planning organization of the student living environment in the dormitories is outdated and does not meet the requirements for studies and everyday life. The use of mobile housing for students has real prospects, since mobile housing technologies are potentially ecological, aimed at the most careful attitude to the natural environment.
