“…The time limit is related to the maximum time within which the system must return a response to the traffic controller, and depends on the vehicles saturation on the roads and the minimal time used in green interval of the traffic lights. These limits are based on the time set in the work of Dezani et al (2012).…”

“…A tool has been developed for collecting spatial data directly in the Google Map API [6]. A mobile GIS device was used to collect and to transmit traffic information over a Wi-Fi network to reduce the wireless network consumption [7], and spatially referenced multimedia data (i.e., geospatial videos) have been collected through mobile GIS devices and used for geography research [8]. In our observations, although computer technologies, especially mobile GIS technology, have been widely used in data collection work, most of this research concentrates on solving data collection problems of certain domains with nearly constant data structure.…”

“…A partir do trabalho desenvolvido foi possível realizar a publicação, até o momento, de três artigos em eventos voltados às redes de Petri, controles e veículos inteligentes. O primeiro trabalho, intitulado "Mobile Application as a tool for urban traffic data collection and generation to Advanced Traveler Information Systems using Wi-Fi networks available in urban centers" foi publicado no IEEE Intelligent Vehicle Symposium (IV'2012) [Dezani, 2012a]. O segundo artigo, chamado "Finding best urban routes based on analyses of High Level and IOPT Petri net models" [Dezani, 2012c], e o terceiro artigo, intitulado "Controlling Traffic Jams on Urban Roads Modeled in Coloured Petri Net using Genetic Algorithm" [Dezani, 2012b], foram apresentados no IEEE International Conference On Industrial Electronics Society (IECON'2012).…”
