Abstract: BACKGROUND AND AIMS Fabry disease (FD) is a rare lysosomal storage disease causing progressive kidney, nervous system and heart disorders. Specific therapy may stop or mitigate disease progression, but is very expensive and results depend significantly on early initiation of treatment.
