ππscattering andπ+dinteractions at 7 GeV/c

Abstract: Using bubble-chamber data on the reactions ~+ d -p , p n~~~, a+d-p,pa+n-, and a-p -nrt*at 7 GeV/c incident r momentum, 7-7 phase shifts are determined for 0.6 < M(m) < 1.5 G~v/c'. An I = 0 S-wave resonance is observed in the f O peak region of M(TT). Constructive P-W interference is found in the reaction xtn-p~+nand evidence is presented for some specifically deuteron effects in the data with large spectator-proton momentum.
