Abstract:The strong decays of KA, K*, and mesons are calculated using (a) Ward identities derived from equaltime commutation relations of chiral SU(3)(S)SU(S), (b) the notion of a partially conserved strangenesschanging axial-vector current, (c) dominance of spectral functions by gauge mesons, and (d) maximum smoothness of proper vertex functions. This method was originally introduced by Weinberg and Schnitzer for SU{2)0SU{2) and applied to Ai and p decays. We describe the co- system by the current-mixing model.… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
