Abstract:Given the prevalence and risk of antibiotics and advantages of the anaerobic ammonium oxidation (anammox) process, this study evaluated and compared the mainstream and sidestream anammox process performance in treating wastewater containing typical β-lactam antibiotic under microaerobic conditions.
