We analyze the neutrino phenomenology in an SU(5) F-theory model with both a visible sector and a twin hidden sector. At low energies, the strong and weak scales of the two sectors may differ but the spectrum of states is described by the MSSM (MSSM′) in the visible (twin) sectors. What is special about the model is that there are right-handed neutrinos which couple to both sectors via Yukawa couplings. As a result, assuming 3 right-handed neutrinos with a large mass much greater than the weak scale, at tree-level the seesaw mechanism results in 3 massive Majorana neutrinos and 3 massless ones. The massless neutrinos acquire mass via radiative corrections. In our analysis, the massless neutrinos are predominantly active neutrinos, while the massive neutrinos are predominantly sterile neutrinos. We fit the active neutrino masses and mixing angles and discuss the phenomenology of the lightest sterile neutrino. Finally we consider some possible scenarios for cosmology.

GM2Calc is a leading tool for calculating precise contributions to 𝑎 𝜇 in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. In this proceeding we detail GM2Calc version 2 where it is extended so it can calculate two-loop contributions to 𝑎 𝜇 in the Two-Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM), based on the work in Ref. [1]. The 2HDM is a simple model, yet it is one of the few single field extensions of the Standard Model which is able to explain the muon 𝑔 − 2 anomaly. We demonstrate the powerful and flexible 2HDM capabilities of GM2Calc2, which include the most precise contributions in the literature and allow the user to work in their favourite type of the 2HDM as well as use complex and lepton flavour violating couplings. With its multiple interfaces and input flexibility, GM2Calc2 is a powerful tool both as a standalone code and as part of a larger code toolchain.

The observed value of the muon magnetic dipole moment, which deviates from the Standard Model prediction by 4.2σ, can be explained in models with weakly-interacting massive particles (WIMPs) coupled to muons. However, a considerable range of parameter space of such models will remain unexplored in the future LHC experiments and dark matter (DM) direct searches. In this work we discuss the temperature observation of neutron stars (NSs) as a promising way to probe such models given that WIMPs are efficiently captured by NSs through DM-muon or spin-dependent DM-nucleon scattering. The captured WIMPs eventually annihilate in the star core and heat the NS. This effect can be observed in old NSs as it keeps the NS surface temperature at a few thousand K at most, which is much higher than the predicted values of the standard NS cooling theory for NSs older than ∼ 107 years. We consider two classes of representative models, where the DM couples or does not couple to the Higgs field at tree level, and show that the maximal DM heating is realized in both scenarios.
