Mitral Valve Repair for Mitral Valve Regurgitation with Papillary Muscle Displacement and Posterior Leaflet Prolapse

Abstract: A case of abnormal chordae of the mitral valve (MV) associated with systolic anterior motion (SAM) is not commonly encountered in clinical practice. Here we report MV repair via the edge-to-edge technique in a 56-year-old male with MV regurgitation associated with papillary muscle displacement and posterior leaflet prolapse.
