Abstract:Palladium metal catalysts have emerged as the preferred choice for alkaline formate oxidation reaction (FOR) due to their high activity. However, their strong binding with adsorbed H (H ad ) allows H ad to occupy the active site, resulting in slow FOR kinetics.
