Abstract:DURING RECENT YEARS the taxonomy, bionomics, and control of phytophagous mites have become subjects of intensive study. Phytoseiids, the most important mite predators of plant-feeding mites, are now receiving attention from entomologists with regard to their taxonomy, bionomics, and the effects of agricultural chemicals on their populations.
