Mission in Higher Education in Slovenia: Sustainability in Engineering versus Others Sector

Abstract: With the proper mission, higher educational institutions can search for their opportunities and eliminate their weaknesses in the market. In the paper, mission statements from engineering institutions are compared with other higher educational institutions in Slovenia. Results of the content analysis reveal that “development”, “education”, “research” and “knowledge” are words with the highest frequency, confirming similar studies in the past.
