Abstract

BACKGROUNDAcross the world diabetes is becoming increasingly common in pregnancy. [1][2][3] Pre-existing diabetes, typically Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, accounts for ~15% of diabetes in pregnancy. 3 In pregnancy, pre-existing diabetes is associated with many obstetric and neonatal complications including preterm delivery, neonatal hypoglycaemia,
