“…MiR-23a-3p also suppressed oxidative stress injury in a mouse model of focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion [93]. Furthermore, miR-23c, but not miR-23a was reported to function as a new regulator to inhibit angiogenesis by targeting SDF-1α, which is responsible for delayed process of wound healing in patients with diabetic foot ulcer due to reduced expression of growth factors, persistant inflammation and endothelial dysfunction [94]. Since our recent study demonstrated upregulation of miR-23a-3p in a proportion of children with normal clinical findings born of gestational hypertension complicated pregnancies only, we suppose that compensatory effect of miR-23a-3p may appear more likely in these children to normalise cardiomyocyte state and vasculogenesis [95].…”

“…qPCR reaction mixture (20 µL) contained 10 µL fast start essential SYBR Green PCR Master Mix (Roche Diagnostics, GmbH, Indianapolis, IN, USA), 2 µL (0.2µM) of each T. castaneum specific forward and reverse primers, and 5 µL of DNA corresponding to 100 ng/reaction served as a template for the study. The amplification conditions were followed as described by Amin et al ( 31 ). Samples without template DNA were used as negative control and the DNA isolated from the adult red flour beetle was used as a positive control.…”

“…miR-23c is also involved in the downregulation of the expression of other angiogenic factors, such as endothelial NOS (eNOS), HIF-1a, and VEGF, thus inhibiting angiogenesis. 84 miR-205-5p inhibits VEGF protein translation by interacting with the 3 0 UTR of VEGF mRNA. In contrast, anti-miR-205-5p significantly increased the expression of VEGF in MSCs, thus promoting angiogenesis.…”

“…16,30,48,75,121 A disease may be accompanied by several changes in the expression of different ncRNAs, 111,112,122 and their functions differ markedly. 84 The expression dynamics and individual differences of ncRNAs as well as their mutual relationship are like a complex network, which greatly increases the challenge of clinical application of ncRNAs. Use of ncRNAs as a diagnostic biomarker is based on changes in their level of expression or restoration of expression through artificial supplementation for treatment purposes.…”
