miR‐182 selectively targets HOXA10 in goat endometrial epithelium cells in vitro

Abstract: Proper HOXA10 expression was essential for endometrial receptivity what was crucial for successful embryo implantation in mammalian. This study confirmed that miR-182 regulated the expression levels of HOXA10 by binding to its 3' UTR, selectively downregulated HOXA10 in goat endometrial epithelium cells (gEECs) but not stromal cell (gESCs) in vitro. However, HOXA10 and miR-182 both up-expressed in the goat endometrium at gestational day 15 (D15) compared with gestational day 5 (D5), suggesting that there were … Show more

“…ovary [ 45 ], liver [ 46 ], pituitary [ 47 ], lung [ 48 ]) and types of cells (e.g. skeletal muscle satellite cells [ 49 ], skin fibroblast cells [ 50 ], Leydig cells [ 51 ], blood leukocytes and milk somatic cells [ 52 ], intramuscular preadipocytes [ 53 ], endometrial epithelium cells [ 54 ]) in physiological and pathological processes in goats, including in response to infectious diseases. For example, the expression of 316 DEmiRNAs was found in peripheral blood mononuclear cells of goats infected with peste des petits ruminants virus, and most of the predicted targets of these DEmiRNAs were found to be involved in immune escape [ 55 ].…”

“…Therefore, future studies should focus on the mechanisms underlying the regulation of MMP-3 by HOXA10 and the effect of HOXA10 overexpression on BC cell behavior. Furthermore, HOXA10 has been reported to be regulated by various miRNAs in different tumors and to be involved in different signaling pathways (19,30,31), which may be an important study direction in the future.…”

“…For example, Let‐7g was reported to target Caspase‐3, and inhibit the apoptosis induced by oxidized low‐density lipoprotein ( OX‐LDL ) in endothelial cells (Zhang, Chen, Zhang, & Tong, ). miR‐182 could induce EEC apoptosis by directly targeting the 3′‐untranslated region (3′‐UTR) of PTN (Zhang, Liu, Liu, Ma, et al, ), and directly regulate HOXA10 via its 3′‐UTR (Zhang, Liu, Liu, Song, et al, ).…”
