In light-front dynamics, form factors are traditionally computed with the "good current" J þ within the Drell-Yan frame q þ ¼ 0. Due to truncations imposed in practical calculations, the from factor may acquire frame dependence, which is often neglected. In this work, we explore the form factors in more general frames, preserving the boost covariance. We find the frame dependence of the elastic form factors for mesons is small in basis light-front holography and related models with two-body Fock space truncation. We suggest to use the difference between form factor results from Drell-Yan frame and the "longitudinal frame" as a metric for the violation of the Lorentz symmetry due to Fock space truncation.

The approach based on the Nakanishi integral representation of n-leg transition amplitudes is extended to the treatment of the self-energies of a fermion and an (IR-regulated) vector boson, in order to pave the way for constructing a comprehensive application of the technique to both gap- and Bethe-Salpeter equations, in Minkowski space. The achieved result, namely a 6-channel coupled system of integral equations, eventually allows one to determine the three Källén–Lehman weights for fully dressing the propagators of fermion and photon. A first consistency check is also provided. The presented formal elaboration points to embed the characteristics of the non-perturbative regime at a more fundamental level. It yields a viable tool in Minkowski space for the phenomenological investigation of strongly interacting theories, within a QFT framework where the dynamical ingredients are made transparent and under control.

We investigate light meson mass spectra with massive u, d, and s quarks and with a spin effect under a bound system in 3 + 1 dimensional QCD by using the first order perturbation correction. In the process of determining charged kaon and neutral kaonmasses, we obtain masses of u, d, and s quarks that are slightly smaller than the currently accepted values. Using these masses, we obtain light meson mass spectra that includes mass splitting of charged and neutral kaons and ρ mesons. The most interesting of our results is that the pion mass remains unchanged even though u, d, and s quarks become massive.
