Abstract: Laparoscopic peritoneal dialysis catheter insertion is an established method for peritoneal dialysis catheter placement. One critical aspect of this procedure is rectus sheath tunneling. Proper peritoneal dialysis catheter incorporation within the abdominal wall is important for reducing pericatheter leaks and for proper peritoneal dialysis functioning.
