Minimal stimulation protocol for use with intrauterine insemination in the treatment of infertility

Abstract: Minimal stimulation appears to be an effective protocol in cases of unexplained infertility undergoing intrauterine insemination. Reduced cost and minimal monitoring is appealing to patients and the clinician.

“…A minstim protocol for intrauterine insemination (IUI) has been described, with clomiphene citrate (CC) given on cycle days 3 through 7 and 150 IU of hMG on cycle day 9 (2).
