Miniband electronic structure of quantum dash array

Abstract: In the paper, we investigate the miniband structure of one-dimensional quantum dash array and its dependence on geometrical parameters by using a newly developed and efficient numerical method. We show that miniband energy significantly depends on the dash height and width, while the miniband width depends on the array period and the dash width.
