Miniaturized double transit magnetic field measurement probe using the Faraday rotation principle

Abstract: This paper presents the design and experimental results of a double transit magnetic field measurement probe based on the Faraday rotation principle using terbium doped borosilicate glass as a sensor element. When the magnetic field is applied in the direction of propagation of light through the glass, the Faraday effect produces non-reciprocal circular birefringence.
