MIMO Receiver Using Reduced Complexity Sequence Estimation With Channel Estimation and Tracking

Abstract: Abstract-A sequence-based multiple-input-multiple-output receiver incorporating channel estimation and tracking for a frequency selective fading environment is developed. It employs near-maximum likelihood sequence estimation using the partitioned Viterbi algorithm and offers linearly increasing complexity with the number of transmit antennas. The receiver implements channel estimation and tracking using a vector-polynomial-based generalized recursive least squares algorithm. The resulting integrated receiver … Show more

“…1 Channel estimation is an important technique used in a wireless mobile network system, where the channel is switched by a particular instant of time. 2 Wireless mobile communication is often influenced by multichannel obstacles like reflection results and elements including infrastructures, mountains, and other obstacles. The channel estimation is varied concerning time and also obtained reliable and more data rates at the receiving end.…”
