Milling Stability Prediction: A New Approach Based on a Composited Newton–Cotes Formula

Abstract: Based on a composited Newton–Cotes formula, this paper proposes a numerical method to predict milling stability considering regenerative chatter and focusing on rate and prediction accuracy.
