Abstract:BackgroundVirus-caused diseases are a huge challenge to both animals and human beings, especially coronaviruses. Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV), a coronavirus, causes acute diarrhea and up to 100% mortality in piglets less than three weeks of age.
