Abstract: Background Miliary tuberculosis (MTB) is a type of disseminated and active tuberculosis that presents with radiopathologic signs of tuberculous micronodules, as well as microbiologic evidence from detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis or other Mycobacterium strains in PCR or culture [1].
