Abstract:EDITOR'S NOTE: The manuscript featured in this month's Search and Research is an example of nurse practitioner research that may be funded by a pharmaceutical company. While not specifically related to a given pharmaceutical agent, such research can give insights into behavioral patterns of patients (in this case RNs) that can affect treatment outcomes, management styles, and marketing strategies in the pharmaceutical industry as well as shed insight into nurse practitioner practice.
