Abstract:BackgroundTo evaluate the technique and clinical results of the uncemented fluted, tapered, modular stems in treating Vancouver B3 periprosthetic femoral fractures. MethodsA retrospective study was carried out on 56 patients (56 hips) with the use of the modular femoral stem in revision of total hip arthroplasty between August 2007 and January 2009.
