Mid-wavelength infrared photodetection and surface plasmon enhancement

Abstract: Infrared (IR) photodetectors with peak sensitivity wavelength in mid-wavelength infrared (MWIR) spectral window (3-5 μm) have attracted extensive interests due to the highest atmospheric transmission in this range.
