Mid-trimester termination of pregnancy by dilatation and evacuation

Abstract: The object of this study was to evaluate the feasibility and safety of Dilatation and Evacuation (D&E) as a method of termination of pregnancy in the second trimester. We conducted a retrospective analysis of 61 cases. The mean age of women was 25.6 years (range 1545) and the majority of terminations were performed for social reasons.
