“…[11] Thus, the aim of this study was the development of a FTIR procedure for a fast, accurate, and direct determination of oxadiazon in commercial herbicide formulations that can be used in the quality control of these products and could avoid the application of chromatography procedures that work better for residue analysis than for products containing oxadiazon at percentage level.…”

“…The main advantage that FT-Raman presents over FTIR spectrometry is the very weak Raman spectra of glass, water and plastic packaging, which allow direct analysis of samples inside glass bottles or plastic bags without opening the package, thus minimising the risk of contamination. In this article, it is clearly shown that these techniques enable fast, non-destructive, precise and accurate measurements, and thus vibrational spectrometry is a promising tool for analysis in the agrochemical-industry samples (Armenta, 2005). In Brazil, thin-layer chromatography (TLC) is still a common technique used in pesticide identification in forensic toxicological and chemistry laboratories.…”

“…It had already been used in quality control of pesticide formulations [15]. Tianfeng Xu developed a method to detect chlorpyrifos on apples through Raman spectroscopy technology [16]. And now Raman technology have been a fast, accurate method for non-destructive detection and in several cases in-situ method for detection of various materials is gaining its importance in agricultural application as well [17].…”
