Abstract:Mid-diastolic events (L events) include three phenomena appreciable on echocardiography occurring during diastasis: mid-diastolic transmitral flow velocity (L wave), mid-diastolic mitral valve motion (L motion), and mid-diastolic mitral annular velocity (L’ wave).
