Microwave study of planar honeycomb EBG lattice with hexagonal basis points

Abstract: Hexagonal basis for EBG lattice structures have been reported due to their capability to accommodate maximum numbers of neighbors resulting closed packed array of hexagonal patches ideal for steerable devices for navigation. Present work reports the analysis of hexagonal basis in honeycomb metallo-dielectric lattice structure in Ka band.
