Microwave-Assisted Synthesis of Novel-5-Substituted-2,3-dihydroimidazo[1,2-c]thieno[3,2-e]pyrimidines

Abstract

S y n t h e s i s o f 5 -S u b s t i t u t e d -2 , 3 -d i h y d r o i m i d a z o [ 1 , 2 -c ] t h i e n o [ 3 , 2 -e ] p y r i m i d i n e sAbstract: A novel, facile microwave-assisted route for the synthesis of imidazo[1,2-c]thieno[3,2-e]pyrimidines 4 in quantitative yields is reported. The intermediates 4-chlorothieno[2,3-d]pyrimidines 3 were synthesized under one-pot reaction conditions.
