Abstract:BACKGROUND
Superparamagnetic spinel ferrites were synthesized through a facile one‐step co‐precipitation technique using carbonate salt as precursor.
RESULTS
The synthesized ferrite nanoparticles of type MFe2O4 exhibited remarkably high magnetism even under microwave irradiation, which was utilized for the microwave‐assisted degradation of Alizarin Red (AR) dye. The formation of •OH radicals under microwave irradiation was detected by the radical scavenging studies, which suggested that these radicals played a… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
