“…Figure 3 shows the infrared absorption spectrum of BBZ‐Nd glass samples appear near 520 cm −1 ,700 cm −1 ,840 cm −1 ,1000 cm −1 ,1200∼1400 cm −1 (the major absorption bands and their vibration types summarized in table 2). 16–19 It seems that the absorption intensity of band observed at 544 cm −1 which ascribes to the vibrations of Bi–O–Bi bonds in distorted [BiO 6 ] octahedron network increases firstly and then decreases with the increase of Nd 2 O 3 content, implying the content of [BiO 6 ] hexahedron in glass structure also increases first and then decreases. Correspondingly, the change of absorption intensity band at 840 cm −1 , which is a characteristic peak of [BiO 3 ] triangle unit, reflects the fact that the content of [BiO 3 ] triangular structure decreases and then increases.…”

“…The choice of shielding material is contingent upon several factors, such as the nature of the radiation, system specifications, resilience to radiation-induced harm, economic circumstances, and mechanical characteristics [26]. Low-melting glass is a common binder phase in advanced electronics technology due to its low sealing temperature, heat resistance, and air tightness [27], [28]. PbO-based glasses are particularly popular due to their low glass transition temperature and excellent thermal and electrical properties [29].…”
