“…Tungsten with body centered cubic structure has high melting point, high density and high hardness. Tungsten heavy alloy is based on tungsten (W%:85%-99% in wt%)with Ni, Cu, Fe, Co, Mo, Cr et al as alloying elements, of which the density is as high as 16.5-19.0g/cm 3 .The WHA is the second largest type of highly-processed products made of Tungsten, and the main material systems of WHA consist of W-Cu, W-Ni-Fe, W-Ni-Cu, W-Hf, W-Ta and W-Re et al In order to meet the requirements of new materials in major military projects application, scientists have successfully developed W-Ni-Cu alloy which can be used in making gyroscope rotor of artificial satellite. Recently, the W-Ni-Fe alloy was developed, which have been applied in the field of kinetic energy penetrators, the electrical process, and the medical profession due to the advantages of strength and ductility.…”

“…W-Cu alloy is a pseudo-alloy consisting of W and Cu, which has common good qualities of W and Cu, such as excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, high strength, extreme hardness and low thermal expansion coefficient. As a result, W-Cu composites have been widely applied in heat sink material, electric contact material, Electrical discharge machining material, high-temperature structural material, arc resistance of electrode material and heavy electrical contact material [1][2][3][4][5] . The traditional method of fabricating W-Cu alloy is infiltration process.…”
