Summary: The authors report on a Microsporum canis epidemic in laboratory mice. It is pointed out that this dermatophyte infects mice only exceptionally. The strange manner of transfering the infection is emphasized. Zusammenfassung: Die Autoren berichten über eine Microsporum‐canis‐Epidemie bei Laboratoriumsmäusen. Es wird darauf hingewiesen, daß dieser Dermatophyt nur ausnahmsweise Mäuse infiziert. Die sonderbare Übertragungsweise wird hervorgehoben.
