Microscopic vision based on the adaptive positioning of the camera coordinate frame

Abstract: Microscopic vision measurement precision has been largely limited by inaccurately calibrated model parameters, because image plane is near parallel to reference plane in the narrow depth of field. This article proposes a method of precise microscopic vision measurement based on the adaptive positioning of the camera coordinate frame. The microscopic vision measurement movably attaches the origin of the camera coordinate frame along the optical axis. By finding the optimal position, the nonlinearity of the obje… Show more

“…Pei et al (2012) studied the micro stereo imaging principle of SLMs and proposed a method of micro stereo occlusion correction to address micro fluidic chip detection. A vision calculation method was proposed by Zhang et al (2012) and Li et al (2014) and used to characterize gears. Robert et al (1997) calculated the topography of small objects using a fringe projection technique and presented a microscopy measuring system containing a Leica MZ-12 SLM(Leica Microsystems Inc., Wetzlar, Germany).…”

“…An alarm signal would be given when the disparity value decreased to a certain extent. Zhang, Li, Wei, Cao, and Wang () and Li, Wei, and Zhang () used SLM stereovision to measure surface properties of small objects and proposed a calibration method of SLM stereovision. To achieve a high precision, more numerous distortion parameters must be considered in SLM stereovision model which will create a very complicated and highly nonlinear vision model.…”
